Reading, UK, 21st July 2016 Cloud Distribution, the security, networking and storage next-generation value added distributor (VAD), has today announced that it achieved excellent growth in 2015 with revenues increasing by 43% year on year.

Key to the company's success was helping partners increase revenues with existing vendors and signing new disruptive technology vendors to its already impressive portfolio including Aerohive Networks, IgniteNet, Vectra Networks, Check Point, Netskope, Spikes Security, Trusted Knight and Onelogin. Supporting partners with value add partner enablement services that accelerates their go to market strategies, and the launch of an upgraded marketing portal to enable partners to quickly create marketing campaigns for immediate lead generation, have also played a pivotal role in Cloud's growth.

To enable the next stage of its development, Cloud Distribution has changed the structure of the company regards managerial responsibility and the sales and marketing function. These changes will allow Cloud to further grow by placing a greater emphasis on supporting, and improving services, for its channel partners.

Within the senior management team, Greg Harris, Co-Founder, and previously Sales Director, has taken on the new role of Partner Relationship Director focused on implementing the strategic growth plan. This will entail liaising closely with key partners and raising awareness of new vendors and detailing Cloud's support and marketing capabilities. Scott Dobson, Managing Director and Co-Founder, has taken on additional operations responsibilities to ensure growth levels can be supported.
Adam Davison adds sales responsibilities to his role to become Sales and Marketing Director and has restructured the sales team to provide improved resources, knowledge and service to partners.
“Cloud has experienced a tremendous year of growth by enhancing our portfolio with new disruptive technology that perfectly compliments our existing suite of vendors and providing partners with a range of value add support services that helps grow their business,” said Adam Davison, Sales and Marketing Director, Cloud Distribution. “We've now made structural changes within the business to take into account the continued growth of new and existing vendors and we have seen revenues grow year over year even with the removal of Meraki from our portfolio, so we can invest even more time and resource in our partners and grow together.”

The re-structuring within the Sales Specialists team sees Ben Chesterman take control of the Mobile Security and specialist Cyber defence Stack as Sales Specialist (Blackberry, Check Point Mobile Threat and Spikes Security) and Lex Moon becomes the lead Enterprise Security Sales Specialist. Cloud has made a new addition to bolster the Sales Specialists team with the appointment of James Holland who joins from Exclusive Networks as Cloud's new LAN and Wi-Fi Sales Specialist.

“The changes will ensure partners have a comprehensive understanding of our solutions, so they won't miss any sales opportunities. They will also enable us to better demonstrate to partners how we can extend their capabilities to compliment their sales teams and enjoy more margins by taking advantage of our sales and technical support and unique Altitude Marketing Services,” commented Davison.
